Stay and booking<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The campsite is open from May to September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We strongly recommend that you book if you wish to stay especially during July and August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July and August, all rentals are on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All reservations must be accompanied by a  deposit of 30% (or one night if less than 20 euros), the balance paid on arrival for campers and a month in advance for the rentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrival and Departure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Camping pitches are available from 1pm and must be vacated by noon on the day of departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rental accommodation is available from 4pm and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of the departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the low season you can arrive until 7pm and during July and August until 9pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case of later arrival, please let us know as soon as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rental price includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The maximum number of persons stated in relevant rental location<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Parking for one vehicle. (There is an extra charge for additional vehicles and trailers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Consumption of water, electricity, gas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Not included is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Towels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Tourist Tax<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Animals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Pets are allowed, except in the new 5 bed chalets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dogs must be tattooed or microchipped, vaccinated and kept on a leash. The certificate of rabies vaccination must be available to view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In accordance with Article 211-1 of the law of 6 January 1999 relating to \u201cdangerous and stray animals and to the protection of domestic animals\u201d  Category 1: Attack dogs: are prohibited. The 2nd category : Guard dogs: must be kept on a lead by an adult (Art.211-5 RC) and muzzled. These dogs must be registered with a pedigree which is recognised by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We ask you keep your dog under control at all times, not only on the campsite but also in the valley, please don\u2019t lock them up;  don\u2019t leave them alone and don\u2019t let them bark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Baby Equipment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The Shower block is equipped with a baby changing table and baby bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A baby bed is available on request when booking for rental accomodation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Accessibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      All of our pitches for tents, caravans or camping cars are accessible via gravel lined roadways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      There is a shower room and toilet adapted for people with reduced mobility (Please ask for a key at reception). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Visitors<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If you wish to receive visitors, please inform the reception, there is no charge unless staying over night<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Tourist Tax<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      A tourist tax is collected by the campsite on behalf of the municipality of Chamonix. The amount is \u20ac 0.20 per night per person over 18 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      General conditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. La r\u00e9servation est un contrat personnel. Il ne peut pas \u00eatre transf\u00e9r\u00e9 et la sous-location n\u2019est pas autoris\u00e9e. Toutes les r\u00e9servations doivent \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9es d\u2019un acompte \u00e9gal \u00e0 30% du prix total de la location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Les arriv\u00e9es pour les locations sont autoris\u00e9es entre 16h00 et 20h00 (en cas de retard, merci de nous pr\u00e9venir) et les d\u00e9parts jusqu\u2019\u00e0 10h00. Les locations sont uniquement hebdomadaires, du samedi au samedi sauf demande pr\u00e9alable. Les campeurs peuvent arriver \u00e0 partir du midi et partir avant midi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. La r\u00e9servation est valide apr\u00e8s confirmation \u00e9crite ou par courrier \u00e9lectronique de notre part apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9ception d\u2019acompte. Le solde est payable au moins 4 semaines avant votre arriv\u00e9e sur le camping pour les locations et le jour d\u2019arriv\u00e9e pour les campeurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Toute annulation doit \u00eatre notifi\u00e9e par lettre ou email, la date de r\u00e9ception d\u00e9terminant la date d\u2019annulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. En cas d\u2019annulation, les frais suivants seront factur\u00e9s: Le co\u00fbt total du s\u00e9jour si vous annulez moins de 30 jours avant la date d\u2019arriv\u00e9e pr\u00e9vue ou si vous ne vous pr\u00e9sentez pas \u00e0 cette date. Aucun remboursement ne sera effectu\u00e9 en cas d\u2019arriv\u00e9e retard\u00e9e ou de d\u00e9part anticip\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. A votre arriv\u00e9e, il vous sera demand\u00e9 une caution de 200 \u20ac pour les chalets et autres h\u00e9bergements locatifs, ce qui inclut les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels et la propret\u00e9 de l\u2019h\u00e9bergement le jour de votre d\u00e9part. Il vous sera rembours\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de votre s\u00e9jour, d\u00e9duction faite des frais li\u00e9s aux articles manquants ou endommag\u00e9s. Le nettoyage est \u00e0 la charge du locataire. Sauf si vous avez pay\u00e9 le \u00abm\u00e9nage de fin de s\u00e9jour\u00bb optionnel, les chalets et autres logements en location doivent \u00eatre restitu\u00e9s en parfait \u00e9tat de propret\u00e9. Sinon, un montant minimum de 50 \u20ac sera retenu sur le d\u00e9p\u00f4t.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Les r\u00e9sidents doivent respecter \u00e0 tout moment les r\u00e8gles du camping, notamment celles concernant les niveaux sonores nocturnes. Des exemplaires des r\u00e8gles et r\u00e8glements du camping sont disponibles \u00e0 la r\u00e9ception et seront envoy\u00e9s sur demande.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. Une assurance de responsabilit\u00e9 civile est obligatoire. Le certificat d\u2019assurance doit \u00eatre renvoy\u00e9 avec le formulaire de r\u00e9servation. La direction n\u2019est pas responsable en cas de vol, perte, dommage de quelque nature que ce soit pendant ou apr\u00e8s votre s\u00e9jour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. Tout litige \u00e9ventuel sera trait\u00e9 en exclusivit\u00e9 par le Tribunal d\u2019instance Bonneville 16170, 18 quai du Parquet, BP 136, 74136 BONNEVILLE CEDEX. La version fran\u00e7aise de la convention est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme faisant foi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Insurance when renting accommodation in France <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Point 8 from our general terms and conditions is mandatory when renting to French guests and is meant to draw your attention on the following point : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Residents in France are required to have public liability insurance \u2013 \u201cassurance responsibilite civile\u201d, which is usually included in home insurance or available as an add-on. This covers them if they damage another person\u2019s house. Then, the home owner claims on the individuals insurance, not their own, as French rental insurance does not cover damage caused by guests. That\u2019s why holiday let owners may ask for proof of insurance, as its common procedure in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        We know it may be difficult for a person based in the UK to get cover specifically designed to cover their liability for a rental in France and consequently will not require copy of insurance certificate.  A comprehensive travel insurance or home insurance policy should provide public liability insurance cover for damage to 3rd party property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        These details are considered necessary in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
